Geely has refreshed its best-seller in China: the EX2, sold there as the Geome (Galaxy) Xingyuan. It was one of the country’s top-selling cars in 2025 – and now there’s a facelift with a bigger battery and fresh design. One thing up front: this is the China model, not exactly the EX2 you buy in Thailand today.

Key facts (China version)
- Battery: new 47.14 kWh LFP pack
- Range: up to 480 km CLTC (also a 410 km version)
- Design: new “smile” front, feather-style LED headlights, “Light Feather” tail lights with 78 elements
- Wheels: new 16-inch petal-style wheels, 8 exterior colours
- Motor: 79 PS (base) or 116 PS on the other versions
A note on range: 480 km is on the CLTC cycle, China’s test standard. It’s more optimistic than WLTP – real-world range will be noticeably lower.
What does it cost in China?
At launch in late May 2026 there are six versions with promotional prices from around 61,800 to 91,800 yuan – roughly 9,100 to 13,500 US dollars. These are China prices and don’t transfer directly to Thailand (different taxes, import setup, equipment).
What does it mean for Thailand?
The EX2 sold in Thailand today is the export version with 39.4 kWh and around 325 km of range. The China facelift with its bigger battery and longer range has not been officially announced for Thailand. Whether and when it arrives – and in which spec – remains to be seen. We’re keeping an eye on it and will report as soon as there’s something concrete.
